To be honest, this little hotel looks like a "dive motel" from first glance. However, I urge others to give it a chance because it turned out to be an extremely quiet and tastefully decorated hotel once here. The only negative comment I have is that the staff wasn't very kind or accomodating.
It is a nice qwaint lodging. We didn't run into any problems with the facilities. It all looks really nice as when we first compared it to the outside. First mistake. It was really nice inside, no bedbugs. That's a plus. It even has a kitchen. Which is cool but we didn't use it yet :(overall, pretty good place. I'm noy sure if all of em are like this but the one we got is a 3 bed, 2 room 1 bath and 1 kitchen. Good stuff.
The lady in charge was very kind. I was looking for a place to stay for one night during my trip. Laguna Lodge provided a very clean room for me. It may not be a 5 star hotel, but it was a 5 star experience for me. I'll definitely stay here again during my next trip.
Great no-frills hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. No air conditioning in the rooms, but open windows provided all the circulation we needed for our stay in October. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the rooms. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are free. Location is convenient driving distance from the beach, Aquarium, CSU campus and lots of restaurants. We will definitely be booking here on our next trip to Monterey.
the suites are perfect for traveling with kids. definitely not fancy, in fact some quirks in our room, but we couldnt have afforded the trip at normal monterey rates. a bargain for the bargain hunters.
Nice clean place. No a/c but two fans in the room. Big bed, thick fluffy towels, owner is nice and professional . Will definitely return if I'm ever in town again
I booked this room for the weekend of July 21,2024 The room was nice and clean. The manager Alfonso responded quickly ,and was on time. The location is nice it's located in Marina, CA 10 minute drive from seaside 15 min drive from monterey. Will be returning. Sincerely Cindy & Vincent L.
The rooms were quiet and clean. I booked this room before I noticed they didnt have AC but it wasn't a problem. They have a stand fan and the weather is cold out almost always you can just open a window. Beds were comfortable also.
